About the Chef - Chenequa Smith

"I was born and raised in Goose Creek SC. All my life I grew up wanting to be a nurse. It wasn't until I regained stability from being homeless and losing everything I had for 3 yrs, that I found a love for cooking. It all started as me trying to gain extra income to feed my family selling garlic crabs from my home for 4 years . As I became better at it, my recipe became popular and I was able to move into a restaurant setting . I now have a small takeout restaurant where I serve the best garlic crabs Charleston SC has to offer."
